Merideth is a highly experienced senior psychologist specialising in trauma recovery and emotional well-being, offering a compassionate and evidence-based approach to healing. With a broad range of treatment modalities, she has a particular interest in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and is an accredited practitioner in this field.

EMDR a powerful method for processing trauma—whether from recent events or past experiences. EMDR helps individuals reduce emotional triggers, improve mood, and reprocess traumatic memories, leading to lasting emotional healing and increased resilience.

In addition to EMDR, Merideth integrates therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support clients managing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She works with diverse populations, including first responders, individuals navigating personal trauma, and those facing significant life changes.

Merideth focuses on a wide variety of presentations, with a particular emphasis on complex trauma (C-PTSD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), adjustment disorder, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, phobias, postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as the challenges associated with adjusting to parenthood.

Merideth is also a board-approved supervisor with many years of experience, providing guidance and supervision to psychologists, supporting their professional development.
