    Recently diagnosed with ADHD? Seeking guidance on understanding your diagnosis or would you like to learn new skills to address your challenges and boost your strengths? Mind Life Clinic is pleased to offer a 6-week group program, led by experienced psychologists.

    In-Person Workshop

    Online Workshop
    Start date: 08 July, 2025.
    Time 6.30-8.00pm.

    Each session will focus on a different topic to help you to understand and
    manage your diagnosis:

    Session 1: Psychoeducation - What is neurodivergence?

    Session 2: Self-regulation

    Session 3: Executive Functioning

    Session 4: Arousal state and emotional regulation

    Session 5: Self compassion for the ADHDer

    Session 6: How to boost your success as an ADHDer

  • Mood Management: Depression Group Workshop

    Mood Management: Depression Group Workshop

    This 5-week group program for ages 18+, run by psychologists, focuses on managing depression using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

    It includes psychoeducation, identifying pleasurable or rewarding activities, breaking down tasks, changing unhelpful thoughts, and active problem-solving.

    Start date: 22 May, 2025.
    Time: 12.30-2.30pm.
    Venue: Ballarat.

    $100 per session, rebates available

    Each session will focus on a different topic to help you to understand and
    manage your symptoms of depression:

    Session 1: Depression and Behavioural Activation

    Session 2: The ABC Connection

    Session 3: Disputation and Balanced Thinking

    Session 4: Self-Schemas

    Session 5: Progress Review and Ending Therapy

  • The Sensory Connection

    The Sensory Connection

    Mind Life Clinic is offering a 6-week Mental Health Sensory Connection Program for ages 18+. This program helps with emotional regulation, stress management, mood regulation, and improving daily engagement in goals. Led by an experienced Occupational Therapist and Psychologist, it focuses on sensory techniques to support mental health.

    Start date: 14 May, 2025.
    Time: 10.00-11.00am.
    Venue: Ballarat.

    $80 per session, rebates available

    Purpose of Group:

    This group is designed to build coping and health maintenance skills in people with mental illness. Participants begin by receiving background information about sensory systems and learning how to use sensory input for calming and altering. Group discussions are based on topics related to coping, managing stress, time management, and healthy leisure. Participants learn through the use of worksheets and games that relate to the group topics.

     

    Goals of the Group:

    Develop emotional regulation skills

    Learn positive coping skills to deal with stressful situations, relieve anxiety, manage anger, decrease tension, and avoid self-harm

    Learn to identify and modify physical and emotional feelings

    Develop a stress management plan

    Identify supports and plan for health management

    Learn grounding techniques to help with dissociation and flashbacks

    Develop good time management skills to balance work, rest, and play

    Develop healthy leisure habits

    Avoid substance abuse

    This 5-week group program for ages 18+, run by psychologists, focuses on managing anxiety using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

    It includes psychoeducation, identifying pleasurable or rewarding activities, breaking down tasks, changing unhelpful thoughts, and active problem-solving.

    Start date: 22 May, 2025.
    Time: 9.30-11.30am.
    Venue: Ballarat.

    $100 per session, rebates available

    Each session will focus on a different topic to help you to understand and
    manage your symptoms of anxiety:

    Session 1: Psychoeducation - Understanding Anxiety, Goals

    Session 2: The ABC Connection, Disputation and Balanced Thinking

    Session 3: Interceptive and Situational Exposure

    Session 4: Self-Schemas

    Session 5: Progress Review and Ending Therapy
