Assessments
At Mind Life Clinic, we offer a range of psychometric and occupational therapy assessments designed to provide a deeper understanding of an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and functional capabilities. These assessments are invaluable tools in identifying strengths, challenges, and potential areas for growth, helping to create tailored strategies for personal and professional development.
Psychometric Assessments: Our psychometric assessments are evidence-based tools used to evaluate a variety of psychological attributes, such as intelligence, personality, aptitude, and mental health status. These assessments can help in diagnosing conditions like anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties, and are often used to guide therapeutic interventions or educational planning. By providing detailed insights into an individual’s psychological profile, psychometric assessments help us tailor our support to meet each person’s unique needs.
Occupational Therapy Assessments: Our occupational therapy assessments focus on evaluating an individual’s ability to perform everyday activities and participate in meaningful occupations. These assessments help identify physical, cognitive, or emotional barriers that may impact daily functioning, whether at home, work, or in the community. Through a holistic approach, our occupational therapists work with clients to develop personalised plans aimed at improving independence, enhancing quality of life, and achieving personal goals.
Together, these assessments form a comprehensive foundation for understanding and addressing individual needs, ensuring that our clients receive the most effective and targeted support possible. At Mind Life Clinic, we’re committed to helping you unlock your potential and lead a fulfilling, balanced life.

The cost of assessments can depend on the complexity of the presenting condition and number of hours required. As such this can vary significantly. However, we always try to minimise time and costs to ensure that these are accessible to all. Unfortunately, assessments are not covered by Mental Health Care Plans. Generally, we require payment prior to the assessment session so we can provide feedback to you right away. However, please feel free to contact us for more information and to discuss your options.
